Transparent Merchant Pricing
No Hidden Fees. No Surprises.
Every dollar you pay to accept payments should be understandable. Here is how our pricing works—in plain English, not industry jargon.
Two Transparent Options
Choose the Pricing Model That Fits Your Business
Both approaches eliminate hidden pricing. The right choice depends on your business, customers, average ticket, and priorities.
Interchange-Plus
You pay the actual card-network interchange cost plus a clearly stated processing markup. Every component is visible and explainable.
Best for: merchants who value detailed transparency, predictable markup, and control over their effective rate.
Dual Pricing / Cash Discount
Your cash price remains the base price. A clearly disclosed card price includes the service fee that covers processing costs.
Best for: businesses that want to offset processing expenses and can display both payment prices clearly.
The Simple Version
What Is Interchange?
Every time a customer swipes, dips, or taps a card, the card network charges a base fee called interchange. That fee goes to the customer’s bank. It is a cost every business pays regardless of processor.
The rate varies by card type. A basic debit card generally costs less than a premium rewards card. You cannot control which cards customers use, but you can control how much processor markup is added above the card-network cost.
Interchange-plus pricing separates those two numbers. Bundled or tiered pricing combines them, making it much harder to see the processor’s actual margin.
Card-Network Cost
The interchange rate set by the network and issuing bank. This varies with the card and transaction type.
Our Stated Markup
A separate, disclosed markup for processing and support. You can see it instead of hunting for it inside a bundled rate.
Offset Processing Costs
What Is Dual Pricing?
Dual pricing displays a cash price and a card price. The card price includes the processing service fee, and the customer chooses how to pay. We configure the terminal and provide the required signage so both prices are displayed clearly.
This approach can work especially well for restaurants, auto shops, and service businesses, but it is not automatically right for everyone. We evaluate customer expectations, ticket size, and business type before recommending it.
Cash Price
The base price of the product or service. Customers paying cash receive this lower displayed price.
Card Price
The base price plus the clearly disclosed service fee. That fee offsets the merchant’s processing expense.
Equipment & POS Costs
POS Pricing Depends on Your Business—Not a Menu
There is no responsible one-size-fits-all POS quote. Hardware, software, installation, integrations, and support depend on your operation and workflow. We show the actual options and costs before you commit.
The “Free Equipment” Trap
Many free-terminal offers hide the cost inside non-cancellable leases, inflated processing rates, or early-termination penalties. A free terminal can become the most expensive option.
Our Approach
We disclose the equipment cost, explain no-contract choices, and let you decide. If a legitimate free-placement option makes sense, the terms will still be clear.
